St. Matthew’s Parish, Keady, Co Armagh are planning a Family Fun Day at The Rectory in aid of their Church Roof Repair Fund. The church, which was consecrated 240 years ago this year, requires major work on the roof. The Fun Day is to be held on Saturday 25th June at The Rectory, Crossmore Road, Keady,
opening at 10.00am.

There will be a wide range of attractions on the day, including bouncy castle, bungee run (for older children), face painting and cake stall. There are stalls selling various types of craft products, and some friendly animals on display. The day will also feature a display of vintage tractors and cars.
The vehicles are to assemble at Wilson’s Garage on the Armagh Road for a 10.00am start,
and will drive along Main Street on the way  to The Rectory.

There is also a car boot sale and other attractions include the visit of a local fire engine, tug-of-war and guessing how many balloons are in a Mini car competition. Refreshments including burgers will be available to purchase. Ongoing musical entertainment from Tassagh Silver Band and local singing talent will add to the atmosphere of the day.
