Sitting in the pews of our parishes in Armagh diocese each week are men and women who are so suited to ordained and lay ministry. From our congregations come our church leaders.
Women are particularly under-represented. At least 60% of most congregations are ladies, yet despite females serving in other roles, we have only a small percentage in ordained and lay ministry.
At our next FOV session, we will have the opportunity to listen to a hugely experienced and well regarded member of the diocesan clergy team, Rev Dorothy, Rector of Annaghmore, about the particular challenges and opportunities that present themselves to ladies.
