
Revd Canon Matthew Hagan MBE appointed a Deputy Lieutenant of Co. Tyrone
His Majesty King Charles III has given his approval for Sir Robert Scott KCVO OBE as The Lord Lieutenant of Co. Tyrone to appoint The Revd Canon Matthew Hagan MBE as a Deputy Lieutenant of Co. Tyrone.
This appointment to the office of Deputy Lieutenant, carries the post nominal ‘DL’ and is in recognition of service to the community.
This voluntary position will see Canon Hagan working alongside the other Deputy Lieutenants in assisting His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant in carrying out his role in Co. Tyrone as the King’s Personal Representative in the County.
Canon Hagan is currently the Rector of Brackaville, Donaghendry and Ballyclog Parishes, Coalisland and Stewartstown. He is also a Chaplain at Evora Hospice Care Newry.
