Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
All glory, laud and honour, To Thee, Redeemer, King,
To Whom the lips of children Made sweet hosannas ring.
Prayer for Palm Sunday
Almighty and everliving God, in your tender love for the human family you sent your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ to take upon him our nature, and to suffer death upon the cross, giving us the example of his great humility: Mercifully grant that we may walk in the way of his suffering, and also share in his resurrection.

13th APRIL — MAUNDY THURSDAY
When Jesus wept, the falling tear in mercy flowed beyond all bound;
when Jesus groaned, a trembling fear seized all the guilty world around.
Almighty and everlasting God, who, of thy tender love towards mankind, hast sent thy Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ, to take upon Him our flesh, and to suffer death upon the cross, that all mankind should follow the example of his great humility; Mercifully grant, that we may both follow the example of his patience, and also be made partakers of his resurrection; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

We worship you, our living, conquering Lord, because by your death you have broken the power of death and by your glorious resurrection you have brought life and immortality to light. As those who partake of your victory we pray that we may continually rejoice in this hope, and live on earth as those whose citizenship is in heaven, where you reign in the glory of the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever.
